

Ravi Gilani

Ravi Gilani introduced TOC to Indian organizations in 1998. He is a Theory of Constraints International Certification Organization (TOCICO) certified expert and has also served as a member on the board of TOCICO from 2005-2008 and 2013-2016. His presentations on TOC implementation in Indian companies at sought after at international conferences.
Prior to founding Goldratt India, Ravi was the Chief Consultant at ECS Limited (Formerly Eicher Consultancy Services Limited). During his consulting career of over 23 years, Ravi has consulted for Indian and transnational organizations, such as L&T, Godrej & Boyce, Salora, RPG Cables, Alstom, Indian Aluminum, Dalmia Cement, OCL, ICI, Exide, Eicher, Ringplus Aqua, Sona Okegawa, NIIT, Paharpur Cooling Towers, Gokaldas Images, Flexituff and Jindal Steel and Power Limited. Before starting his consulting career, Ravi gained valuable hands-on experience for 21 years in operations in the automobile industry (Tata Motors and Eicher).Ravi is an alumnus of the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi. He enjoys striving for the impossible by challenging sacred assumptions and simplifying complexity. In addition to his consulting assignments, he enjoys sharing his vast experience in Indian industry through guest lectures, seminars and workshops. He also writes a guest column for Outlook Business magazine.

Madan G. Agarwal

Madan G. Agarwal helps clients focus on their business goals with the help of TOC, duly supplemented by approaches like Lean, TPM, Six Sigma, TQM, etc. He is an internationally certified TOC practitioner in manufacturing operations/ supply chain and project management. He follows humanistic process-oriented systems approach for faster buy-in. His core competencies are in the areas of both ‘What to do?’ and ‘How to do?’ to reach to the business goal. He is passionate about making Indian companies the world leaders in terms of sustained growth in profit and profitability.
Madan has long industrial experience of three decades in automotive, auto components and manufacturing sectors, both in Indian and global MNCs, including P&L responsibility. He has also been adjunct faculty to MBA students for over 10 years at (now) IIM, Rohtak. He is a graduate mechanical engineer by training from HBTI, Kanpur.

Vinay Agarwal

Vinay Agarwal has over thirty years of executive experience including twenty years leading organisations as MD/CEO/COO/Director with P&L responsibility. Vinay served as an industry leader in his stints as Vice-President and President of the Bearing industry association and member of ASCON and National Council of CII. He has also been a member of the Global Management Committee of Saint-Gobain Abrasives.
Vinay holds a degree in Engineering from IIT Kanpur and in Management from IIM Calcutta. He has rich and varied experience covering manufacturing and service organizations as well as B2B and B2C spaces. He has led organisations in different business situations, namely start-up, turnaround, profitable growth, expansion/greenfield plants, technology transfer, build up of exports and rapid growth against stiff competition. He has also been an IT entrepreneur in the formative years of his career, where along with his partners he built up a profitable, zero-debt business.
Vinay has worked with leading Indian and international companies namely, Blow Plast, TCS, Shriram/SRF Group, BPL Mobile, RPG Group, Saint-Gobain, Dish TV and TVS Group. In his last corporate assignment Vinay headed the business of Samtel Color Limited and Samtel Glass Limited with a combined turnover of over 1000 crores, 6 separate plants and 5000 people in 6 plants.

Ira Gilani Lal

Ira has over eleven years of experience across pharmaceuticals, apparel, retail, communications and technology sectors. Prior to TOC consulting, Ira was a Consultant at Accenture’s corporate strategy practice. At Accenture, she worked extensively with Indian as well as international clients. She was a part of the Shareholder Value Analysis (SVA) team that supported clients to identify free cash flow growth opportunities, through analysis of drivers affecting market expectations and ROIC performance. She has also worked on Market Entry and Global Supply Chain Transformation projects.
Ira has worked for two of India’s biggest pharmaceutical companies, Dr. Reddy’s and Ranbaxy, in functions such as sales and marketing, project management, new product development and international marketing.
She graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Economics (Hons.) from Lady Shriram College, Delhi. She completed her MBA, with specialization in Marketing, from Indian Institute of Foreign Trade (IIFT), New Delhi.

Joseph A. Hopper

Joseph specializes in helping Indian manufacturers deliver on-time production, control inventory and grow sales. As Director - India at the Theory of Constraints Institute, he enjoys consulting, coaching, training and guest speaking.
A former Director at the Indian School of Business, Hyderabad, he created the Experiential Learning Program (ELP) and managed the Wharton Global Consulting Practicum. He has personally overseen over one hundred engagements for clients such as HP India, Bombardier, Sony, Citibank, Goodyear, Maersk, SAP, SEBI, Microsoft, Mattel, ITC, Amazon.com, Google, ICICI Ventures and GE. He also headed Corporate Development at NIIT Ltd.
Joseph graduated on the Dean’s list from the ISB PGP (M.B.A. Finance) and earned his Bachelor’s from King College. He began his career as an Equity Research Analyst at the United Management Company, LLC as one of four analysts monitoring assets of over USD $1 billion

Manu Raj

Manu Raj is a mechanical engineer with over 17 years of professional experience. Prior to starting TOC consulting he was a Vice President with Accenture. He has also worked with companies like Transworks, TVS Electronics & Greaves Cotton and has gained hands on experience in the field of Sales, Service Operations, Capability Development, Quality & Operational Excellence. He has worked extensively on production planning and materials planning with TOC Drum-Buffer-Rope and Replenishment solutions.

Sudhanshu Saraf

Sudhanshu Saraf has been a TOC practitioner for the last 8 years and has gained expertise in the areas of TOC Operations Management, TOC Finance and Measurements, and TOC Distribution Management. He has developed models and tools for better understanding of Capacity Design, Drum-Buffer-Rope solution and Replenishment solution.
Prior to his association with Goldratt India, Sudhanshu was responsible for Process Excellence function globally for eFunds, US-based company providing payment solutions to financial institutions, retail and telcos. Prior to this stint in the services sector of over 8 years, he was with Eicher (manufacturing and consulting) for about 13 years.
As a management consultant, he has worked with Godrej Properties, Crompton Greaves, Punj Lloyd, American Express, Vodafone (UK), General Motors (Egypt), Eveready (South Africa), Premas Biotech and SonaOkegawa.
He is also a certified Black Belt and Master Black Belt in Lean & Six Sigma. Sudhanshu is an alumnus of the Institute of Technology, Banaras Hindu University (IT-BHU).

Mukund Pathak

Mukund Pathak has over 32 years of industrial experience that has evolved from core manufacturing engineering to Total Quality Management(TQM) and Business Process Reengineering. Prior to beginning his TOC consulting career, he was Sr. Vice President - Engineering & Projects at Machined Component Division of Bharat Forge Ltd, Pune. He had been associated with Eicher Group for 17 years at 3 of their manufacturing locations, as the Head of Engineering & Operations.
Mukund has rich experience in setting up new Green field projects for manufacture of Auto components (project planning & execution), process planning & new product development for Indian as well as transnational organizations. He also has hands on experience in implementation of Toyota Production Systemat Bharat Forge, Chakanand at Eicher Demm,Thane.
He has been a visiting faculty for MBA students at Symbiosis institute of International Business (SIIB), Pune. He enjoys sharing his diverse experiences as a Coach for Masters students at Warwick University, UK & IIT, Mumbai.

Ashok Kumar Jain

Ashok has over 36 years of rich industrial experience, with diverse roles in sales and marketing, project management, operations, quality control and assurance.
Ashok has expertise and skills in TOC Distribution Management, Finance and Measurements, and Operations Management. Prior to TOC consulting, he held senior management positions at companies such as Continental Engines Limited, Eicher Tractors, Morris Electronics and BHEL.
He graduated in Electrical Engineering from BITS Pilani and completed his post graduation in Power Systems and Apparatus from IIT Delhi. He also holds PGDM degree in Marketing.

R Shekar

R Shekar has implemented TOC across diverse industries such as telecom, manufacturing, real estate, banking and IT & ITES, in India as well as abroad. He helps his clients to resolve their un-verbalized fears and dilemmas at work.
He is the author of a business novel titled Business Twenty 20: How to build an Everlasting company, that illustrates the power of 'Unconstrained Thinking' to help the owner rethink ways of using the tools, templates and solved examples.
Shekar has done BE Honours (Mechanical) from Regional Engineering College , Tiruchirapalli and PGDBM from IIM Bangalore.
